If you want to go IFS then look at setting the cab on a Toyota. Plenty of parts to pick from. If you stick with the 50 you are limited to next to nothing. Look at setting the body on something. Then the sky is the limit.

pennyman had mentioned that i could use a second gen montero front axle for my rear independent. there isn't going to be a body on this rig. tube roll cage, open wheels, open cockpit, and helmets will be required when you ride in it for fear of flying debris.

A non street rig. Thats not much fun.. Why do you think I'm building mine. So it ca go on the road and off. Besides, who wouldn't want to have a race car on the street.

no, not a road legal vehicle. my blue truck is for the hot rodding and towing the... well, i'm not sure what to call it. it'll be a mix of mudder, crawler, and dune buggy. it'll be awesome when its done though that's for sure. i've figured that it will take me at least 18 months to get it done... maybe a little longer. i'll get some pictures of the engine that is going to go in this, its a 4.9 liter v8 from a '92 caddy. i've got the whole caddy so i can shanghi all the motor parts and electrical crap that i will need to make this all come together. this is gonna be fun.

do you want a set of trailing arms for duel shocks. I have a set that would work on it. They have new uniballs and bushings. They have been used on a race truck for 1 season. They would be just fine on your project. You can check them out when you come down. I have 200 into them.
