    5 Bolt front spindle

I would really like to go to a 5 lug solution on my truck down the road. Has anyone ever modified the spindle to receive another hub from another vehicle to achieve this? I have thought about a Mustang II suspension swap to be able to to this.. but of course this is a pricey choice although many kits come complete.

the Mitsubishi van hubs are a direct swap, and are 5 bolt. The other option is the 2wd Toyota hubs, but you need to use spacers to align the calipers.

Do you know the model of the Van? I'm assume the one for the Asian market? Do you know the years for the Toyota truck you are speaking of?

I will have to look at the bolt circle too and see if it common with any other vehicle in NA

It's a diesel 2wd. Can measure it if you like. I believe they were popular in Thailand so you should be able to eBay parts

Did the Japanese market share the same parts? Is that why the front spindles are a bolt on? Did they share the same rear axle assembly too?

All multiple country imports like Mitsubishi have 95% mechanical compatible parts (steering is the obvious exclusion) but it will come down to what generation you're working on. Gen 5 steering hubs are massively different to Gen 1 and 2 (maybe Gen 3? not sure...) and won't swap without engineering intervention like a gas torch and a welder...

Damn... it seems easier to find a LSD for a toyota than a Ram 50.. I was hoping it would work.

I'll see if I can dig up the part numbers and go see what my local parts guy can come up with.I do know we ran 6 bolt 3/4 ton Chevy rims with with our slicks on the small block powered one.

if u can find toyota parts....
toyota truck front hub swap detailed on this forum, as well as Mmax LSD options/sources + 3.54 starion gear swap
when rearend shopping for my corolla, 92 toyota pickup diff was only 1" wider. Mmax ~2.25" wider
so toyota truck diff ~1.25" narrower than Mmax. If u can find one LSD, u get the popular 5x4.5" pattern as a bonus

That is true.. I never thought of that... Look for an old Toyota for parts.
