    Quad light upgrade

    Hey everybody,

    I have an '84 Max and would like to do a Quad round headlight setup. I haven't figured out the grill yet, I've seen the Kidney grill and am not sold on it yet.
    My question is about the core support;
    Can the swap be done with the 2 light core support or do I need the quad light support out of a slightly newer first gen or or D50?

    Thanks
    - B

    depends on the lights you are using. There should be 2 holes through the core support on each side for back of light clearance. I picked up a set of Hella factory BMW headlights from a 7 series BMW that the buckets are surface mount, but I didn't grab the grille parts and they crushed the car the next week

    Thanks pennyman, I'll look into the 7 series buckets.

    ^good luck with finding a grille. The round ones are not as common as the dual 4"x6" or the single rectangle.

    if you have the BMW grille you can graft the openings into the stock truck grille. Forte truck grille are non existent in the USA, and getting rare in Australia now too.
