    carburetor prblems:(

Hey everyone another new guy,I've had several ram 50 trucks over the years, starting out in 82 .My problem my 2.6 87 truck carb is crap.I can buy a rebuilt off e-bay for 200 plus 100 for core, or i see a weber conversion for 259. Has anyone done the weber conversion? If so do they eliminate all the wires and vacuum lines and still get good mileage? Thanks for any help, great to have found this site!!!
