    Yes, 2'nd Gen are glue in , & the adhesive formula has indeed advanced to the point
    of having stronger shear strength than safety glass, & >= the metal channel.

    Prodak, side note,
    remove the black plastic overlay on the windshield trim...
    Poof !!!! chrome .
