Ram 50 engined Stutz replica finished but.....auto transmission problems

Well, My Stutz Bearcat replica is finished BUT, I have another problem.
I have a Mitsubishi 2.6 engine (1989 Dodge) with auto transmission. There is an electrical cable coming out of the Transmission. it has a 6 pin plug. I thought it was redundant. Now, I am not so sure. I can not get the transmission into PARK. Do one of these pins actuate a solenoid inside tranny to allow it to go into park?
If so, what is the voltage? 5 volt? 12 volt?
I appreciate the past help and I hope there's one of you out there that can help get this project over the line.

There should be something in the manuals section but honestly, I wouldn't know where to start looking. This is such a unique project and you've been chipping away at it for a few years now - so close to being road ready. I did find this but... the resolution makes it near impossible to decipher.

    Bearcat,
May I impose for 3 pictures of the transmission?
    1) The trans pan.
    2) Top of the main case, (between bell housing & extension housing).
    3) Just above the left center trans pan rail .
    Thx !

Not sure if this helps, but here's the circuit diagram of the auto transmission from the '87 service manual (not '89, but maybe the same transmission?).
For reference, the manual shows three different auto transmissions (2.0, 2.6 and 2.6 4x4), but only has this one circuit diagram, so I'm guessing the wiring is same on all.

If this is what you were looking for, and need any of the other pages referenced on the diagram (e.g. P 8-78), let me know.

87 - 89 should all be the aw372 aisin warner tranny, so the 87 manual should be what you need.
