EGR delete
Hey was wondering if an egr delete will increase power and response. Also the motor is a 6g72 12v v6.......thanks

The EGR affects idle and overall performance. Most of the time in 4 cylinder trucks it's been rendered inoperable due to carbon coking the system up, so it would be fair to say the V6's won't escape similar issues. The ECU will do it's best to compensate for whatever running conditions the engine is experiencing but if you can do something to aid O2 readings, it's worth doing - as long as you aren't restricted by EPA regulations...

I've read that the egr valve and failure if you don't catch it quick enough will kill these motors. I'm not restricted by emissions but a muffler delete and cat delete with a 3 inch exhaust does sound nice with backfires. It shoots flames sometimes. I'm going to replace the intake plenum gasket and relash my valves. I might take it off and get it tuned and we'll see what happens.

Also could I get the egr blanked from the ECU?

One of the V6 guys will (hopefully) answer that.
