    Pulley System

Well as you know the stock pulley systems on a 2.0L & 2.6L are single v-belt. I wondering is there anyway to change it to a flat belt (serpentine) system from a late model eclipse or some kind of car. Are the pulleys interchangeable for all pulleys example the Water pump, Crank, Power Steering, A/C Pump & Idler, and Alternator? or just certain pulleys?

Now that is a good question. I bet there is some way to make it work. You would need to take measurements with a caliper to find the depth of the pulleys and mounting. There must be a way to make it work.
It would make for a good project. I hope you come up with a complete system with part numbers. What about the AC? You will need to move the compressor slightly to make it align with the rest of the pulleys.

Thanks I will be doing some measuring and whatnot. I would love to see if it can be done. I will give out what info I can to help get this project going and hopefully be successful hehe.

I've done conversions like this before and most are a pretty simple swap. Sometimes you have to change the water pump to a slightly longer or shorter neck and make sure what the direction its turning.Water pumps turn either Clockwise or Counter Clockwise depending on the why the belt is run and the cooling system will not work properly if you use the pump in the wrong direction. The other thing is the A/C pump pulley is a pain to change so you're better off getting the pump off a donner car that has the right pulley.

lightweight underdrive or performance pulley's never existed for us. I'm wondering if there is a match out there somewhere from for another 2.0 engine.
