    I kinda want to put a chevy 350 has anyone done this before.

    Plenty of SB V8's have been done, no doubt you could go monster cubes with little trouble. The hurdle will be the 4x4 transmission. A RWD only swap would be simple - you may need to think about some radical fabrication and mods using a full size truck as a donor.

    Found this info. Apparently its possible to bolt right up to some of the tranny's that came with the mitsu/D50 https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar...-a-d50.396841/

    An inline 6 would be quite difficult. They are significantly longer than a v8. For a 4 wheel drive, you would probably want to do an engine/transmission/transfer case that all bolt together. Then modify the driveshafts to fit the new transfer case.
