84 Ram 50 bell housing bolt pattern

    Hey all:
Have a 1984 Ram 50 (LO26) 4spd with a 2.0 (G63B), have an opportunity to acquire a 1994 Mighty Max with a 2.3 motor and auto trans, the motor is out of the truck and is fresh from the machine shop (rebuilt), I want to swap the freshly rebuilt motor 2.3 with my 2.0.

I need to know if the bolt pattern from the 2.0's bellhousing is the same as the 2.3's bolt pattern on the rear of the block, so as I may retain my 4spd (pretty much the best theft deterrent out there...a manual transmission) can someone answer this ?, any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated.

unfortunately no. the 2.0 liter is reffered to as the narrow block and the 1994 model would be a 2.4 liter. those are wideblock. if you could find a 5 speed out of a two wheel drive truck with a 2.4 or 2.6 that would be the best way to keep a standard
