    2.3l gauge panel help

So my tach and Speedo don’t work does anyone know where the sending unit is or where they come off of. I’m thinking of ripping out instrument panel that’s there and putting in a digital one for about 400 you can get a pretty nice one but I'm trying to learn about if I can do it. Thanks for the help

The sender unit for the tach is off the back of the diesel injector pump. The speedo cable is hooked up to the extension housing on the transmission (it's all mechanical)

A new cable will fix your bouncing Speedo (well as good as it can be)

You can go electrical but it will depend if you can find the sender unit that will match the trans end. Other option is using a GPS style receiver.

I’ll have to take it apart and find it then go from there. On the summit racing question they said you might be able to use an adapter. GPS sound complicated

Take old one in to a place that makes them (they just cut the cable to length and press the square ends in with a fitting in a press)

Well... think I found the tach problem. There is nothing leading to the injection pump can anyone be a pal and post a picture of what the injection pump should look like for the tach gauge thank you in advance
