Here is a link to information on all of the Mitsubishi Truck/Montero Manual (IDK if it covers auto) Transmissions, in case anyone needed any info.

do you have access to a Wiring Diagram for an Auto transmission in a 95 mighty max?

Hey camoit I found some of them info I needed, however I still have a question to ask. I have an issue with my O/D not kicking in. I was told that the temperature sensor close to the thermostat housing is the culprit. Problem is I see 3, One that is a T sensor, has 2 prongs. 2 other sensors with one prong. I don't know which one to replace, do you know? Also, in a forum someone said there was a O/D relay under the steering wheel. I looked under mine and it's only an empty socket. Mine is a 95 mighty max and can't find a O/D relay anywhere, Am I supposed to have one? maybe they did away with it after 1990? Please let me know, my truck is handycapped because the O/D doesn't work..
The single prong sensor is for the dash gage. As for a relay is should be just a standard 5 pin aux relay . I'm not sure I never had an auto. If you can find a wiring diagram you should be able to track down what is OR is not on your truck any more. People have a tendency to remove things.

It is the sensor closest to the throttle body on the intake manifold. you can also ground the wire out; then the o/d will work regardless of engine temp.
