I'm getting rid of the jet valves and was wondering how do you get rid of the clam looking piece in the combustion chamber?

It probably needs to be heated up (risky if you do it the wrong way and you can't manage to heat the head evenly). And it'll need to held down securely when you're trying to crack them. Spray WD40 into the jet galleries to free up the threads?
