    Cant find this part!

    I have a 1988 mighty max with the 2.0. It wasnt running right when i got it so i tore down the carb and i believe i have found the problem but the the only thing is i can't seem to find this part anywhere. if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

    This kinda threw me a bit. I've only seen 2 types of choke pull off/release assist diaphragms on Mikuni Solex carbs and this wasn't one of them. Took a bit of hunting but this initially came up as a part for a 2.0 Colt carb. Some cross referencing later and bingo. When these diaphragms fail, not only does the choke play up but it also creates a vacuum leak which then messes with internal air metering. This new choke pull off should go some way into getting your carb running right. Pay me off by getting your truck running sweet!
