Just bought a mighty mouse

Hi all, while living here in Hawaii for work I have only ridden motorcycles for my daily drive, but just last week up i picked up an old mighty max that was in good shape for $400. Its 2wd 89 and im in the process of sanding it down, wielding some places and picking out some parts to make it my own. My biggest concern and why i joined the forum is there is just not a lot out there about lifting a 2wd mighty max.

Guessing you will have a lot of rubber to replace too...

What was your intended lift height?
Wheel size?
Usage?

I am not up on the gas engines at all, but I thought there was a metal boss on the side of the engine block that has the info stamped on it. Check the manual section to make sure.

Hi and welcome to mightyram. $400 is a steal! Truth is nobody lifts the RWD trucks as there is some assing around to make it happen. The main issue seems to be the steering column shaft. You can add spacers to all of the cab and tray supports to maybe get 2" but the front end takes some modding. The 4WD trucks have a different front end suspension and steering set up. The RWD's are for hauling, the 4x4's are for getting dirty That being said, nothing is impossible...

If you can find them or have them made - 3" is the max you can get in the front before it maxes out. In the rear you can get more by flipping the axle to under the springs. Welcome to the forum - we need pics - condition not important.
