2nd Gen 4x4 Fuel and Coolant Gauge Not Working and After Market Fuel Tank Question

    Hello All,

I read and sent a message to the user of this post:
    http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin...tage+converter

I am having the same issue. The user stated he replaced a 7volt converter / voltage Converter... Can any one point me to where that device is in the 2nd Gen truck?

Both my gauges are Done and dusted... if I energyze them they sweep... but there seems to be nothing coming from the truck.
The dash cluster plugs are tip top.

Also I have a leaking gas tank... I read on these forums that the 2nd Gen truck don't have an aftermarket tank replacement option...I ask because online you see tanks for like 100$ but people are indicating that they are 1st Gen tanks...
    Is this true?

    Thanks in advance!
