    Nice truck when it runs

Every time I think I have it figured out this turd finds a new way to act up. Once I got it running it has always ran fine except that first start of the day. A couple of days ago it started stalling and only running when the key is in the start position and not run. Then it will magically start and run fine for a bit then is just dies, a couple minutes later starts again. It runs with the starter engaged when this occurs. Oh by the way got a ICV coming, maybe I can fix the startup issue with that.

When you get it running and it subsequently dies, check the temperature of the coil pack. If it's hot then something is loading it up or it's dead. I would check the ignition circuit as well. Maybe a faulty relay (?)

I just put a new ignition switch harness and coil on it. I also fixed a loose wire on the fuel relay.

Put in new (used) idle control valve. Check engine light went off for 2 minutes and then back on. Truck did run better. Posted pictures of the parts sketch on my album.

I know this is stupid but try disconnecting the battery for 5-10 minutes. The ECU might need to have it's RAM wiped to clear error codes
