    Mallory 685 ignition box install help

    A long, long time ago I had a mallory ign. installed on my 2.4 MM. I am lost in the 4 wire distributor wiring and was looking for help. I searched the MSD threads to no avail. ayone better at reading schematics than I? Please help, thank you in advance!

    OK so first sorry for the duplicate post initially. I figured it out again, Its actually simple. I chose the Mallory 685 for the digital variable rpm limit, and boost referenced retard + its capable of so much more. The two OE harness wires going to coil + (black/white) and - (blue) are disconnected from coil and replaced with yellow and black from Mallory. Next the wires removed from coil connect to red (+ wire) (ignition sourced power from the black/white) and to green (- signal/trigger source from the blue). Finally power from battery and ground. No more misses, no more delayed starts, noticeable power improvement. Works with stock coil also.
