EGR valve , caused a lot of bucking and sputtering

I have read a lot of threads to determine why my 2.0 liter would buck and sputter after it shifted into 3rd gear. Some days it would run fine not a bit of problem, but other days it didn't matter what I did to it ,it would buck like a rodeo bull. Well here is a picture of a very clogged EGR valve and needless to say after cleaning all the carbon deposits out of it, no more problem, that truck runs like a scalded rat and I mean I run it all day, put through all the driving conditions I would do as if I was running service calls .
