new to the scene, hunting for parts
new user here. just bought a 1990 MM with a welded rear diff. that i hate. what do i have to do to fix this?!?! do i just need a new diff. or will i need a whole new rear end? its a 4 cyl, 2.4L, 2wd with a 5spd manual tranny.
also looking for aftermarket billet or mesh grilles. anyone have a good parts source? im having a really hard time finding parts for my truck. thanks in advance, any info or leads will be MUCH appreciated!

You can probably just swap in a new diff head/nugget, but I would imagine it's easier to buy the whole thing.
A shame no one locks the diff with lead anymore, you can just melt it out after the race and drive home

Panels will become tricky to get - things like lights and switch assemblies and other body parts are around. There should be tons of parts available through JY's. Pick-n-pulls are the best options and the place where you'll get it cheaper. As far as I know there aren't any specific aftermarket grilles for the MM but members have made them by modifying custom grilles. You can also buy ABS mesh inserts from ebay and modify your existing grille.

Found the parts to square my rear end away today. I'm gonna have to order it since I can't find a max in any of my local scrap yards. Parts have been hard to come by in my neck of the woods. Thanks for the input guys.
