Haynes manual says remove the connector on the TPS and measure resistance between terminals 1 and 4 on the TPS. Should be between3.5-6.5 K ohms. If out of spec replace. Then plug connector back in. Then check voltage at Pin 19 of ECU plug by connecting voltmeter red probe to Pin19, then black probe to Pin24(or any good ground). Should be anywhere from .48-.52V, clockwise rotation of TPS increases voltage, counterclockwise decreases voltage. There you go, how to set your TPS on your 2.4.
