I'm considering a power steering swap, does anyone have a pic of a first gen engine bay sans engine with the lines in place so I can see them routed?

Geronimo's gallery pics have a shot of the power steering lines with the motor in that should show most of what you need.

I've looked it over, I got the p/s reservoir mounting. does the hard line run along the rad support or along the front of the crossmember? shots from underneath seem to rule out running it along the rear of the crossmember.

No - mine runs on the firewall above the motor - the 2 lines you see on the firewall are the power steering lines. If the A/C lines were back on, there would be a third line above the other 2.

wow, my hard lines look nothing like that- way too short to fit that way. I suspect after looking at them again that they must go across the front of the member. anyone have a guess as to if they are second gen lines?

Is the line meant to be set up as a heat exchanger? It would explain why it is designed to face forward into air flow.
