    Rearview Mirror

Hey guys, my 87 MM interior rear view mirror is literally falling apart. I am having no luck whatsoever finding one online. Any ideas or conversions? I like the style it has now in that it bolts to the roof. I don't want to put one on the windshield. Thanks for the help

I used the rear view mirror mount with an integrated cabin light from another Mitsubishi of similar vintage (Mitsubishi Colt but I think they were marketed as Plymouth Champ...?) I got the anti glare tilt function and a cab light that I can actually use to see what I'm doing! lol All 80's Mitsubishi passenger vehicles use the same 3 bolt pattern to mount up to the forward cab channel.

next time that happens, grab the stem and yank on it - the base is breakaway and then you reattach it to the base.

Look in Cordias, Starion/Starquests, Dodge Technicas, Galants etc. I bet earlier Hyundais/Kias use them too (got me thinking - now I have to check those out for myself!) Having the anti glare function is so much easier to live with.

There are some Montero mirrors on eBay that would work, but they're between $30-50.

I found some new mirrors on eBay (thank you China) for $35.38. I've had good luck with the China remade parts.

Thank you all for the help!!! I just ordered a rear view mirror for a 95-96 Montero. I'm hoping it will fit. It looks like it will. Now to wait for it to come in! Haha

I installed one of these wink mirrors and have them in 3 vehicles. Actually are pretty good if you make sure they are installed nice and firm. I don't think I have turned my head in years to check a blind spot, lol.
