    Drop spindles

So I got my drop spindles ordered for the truck. But I was wondering if anybody has flipped the lower ball joint while running drop spindles?
If so how much drop did you get with that combo?
I also have the bags and brackets for the front as well.
    For now I'm running 16" Z71 wheels with a 205/45 16 eventually I'm going with 18's.
I plan on re doing the trans crossmember so it doesn't hang below the frame and moving the gas tank.
The back will be a 3 link with bag on axle.than
Will I need to do much more to lay frame on the 16" wheels?
    Thanks

You'll have to cut the other cross member under the cab that hangs down, or maybe only macro cabs have it I can't remember. You might have to re-angle the upper balljoint too if you run out of ball joint travel(I did).

Russell performance used to make a lower ball joint flip kit for our trucks to do just that; drop was 1 - 2". You also have to raise the gas tank, and the carrier bearing cross member if your truck has one. The re-angle of the UCAs is good for big lowering to get the angles right for alignment.

Thanks, I will try it and see how it goes.
I have the 1 piece driveshaft so I will have to cut the back half of the tunnel and raise it. The gas tank is going to be put between the rear frame rails. The first MM I had years ago I found out about the gas tank hanging to low the hard way. I ripped it while laid out and it was a pain to find another one.
