    Part Compatibility

    Hi Guys,

My 88 D50 got crashed into by a crazy woman. I'm looking to do the repairs myself and I plan on getting the parts at a salvage yard. They have one 88 in the yard but its a club cab and mine is not. So I'm wondering if the hood, front fender, and door are compatible.

    Do you guys know?

Hood and fenders - yes. Doors, not so sure. I would doubt there would be a difference though (but stranger things have happened)

Funny, that's exactly the way I was thinking. And why I thought I would ask.

Is it better to rebuild the club cab and use your truck as the parts vehicle?
I knew daredevils and I ain't got nothin' against them, ........it's just they're all dead.

Haha! It might be "better" since I would end up with a club cab. But no, I already know what's wrong with mine, and I already own it.

Doors, fender, hood will all swap over, only difference is 4wd fenders might have holes for the fender flares to bolt up.
