    Sourcing new stock leaf springs

I'm having a bit of trouble sourcing new leaf springs for my 1984 D50 (4D55). The suspension shop I normally work with, found them but then found out they were discontinued when they tried to order. As a result, they sourced some heavier duty leaf springs which will fit the D50, but cost $120 more per spring.

Their original quoted price was about $180 per spring, anybody have a supplier which has new leaf springs in that price range?

    Try car-part.com maybe,

Not new stuff, but most the time new isn't always the best buy. You can also get leaf helpers that bolt in and strengthen the original leafs. This is an affordable way to stiffen things up back there.
