    nylon nut things.

    The nylon/plastic nuts that fasten all the assemblies the directional lights, trim, and other such light weight objects to the sheet metal. what exactly are they called, and anyone know if the sell a variety of them. i can find all the metal bolts, and clips but not the plastic bits.

    Usually if you take one to the parts store you can find one to match. My local advanced and oriellys sells them

    They have a bunch of different names - screw anchors, rivet inserts, retainers, screw grommets etc. I've been able to buy small blister packs of these things but it's not an economical way to buy them (ebay seems to cater for bulk purchases but the vendors are really cheap). You will find some of them aren't exactly the same as what is fitted to your truck either (I had to file a little off the door handle lugs I bought so'd they fit without beating them into the door with a hammer) Have a look through this listing and you'll find what you're looking for - http://www.ebay.com/sch/eBay-Motors/...&_skc=50&rt=nc
