New Here! '82 Power Ram 4x4

    Howdy!
So I just bought an '82 Power Ram and thought I would join up here. I'm going to use the truck as a daily driver, and hope to get out into some mountain roads.

I've only had it for a week, and it drives great! There's a light hum that sounds like the throwout bearing, and a squeaky/hard suspension. I'll need to find someone who will pass me for smog... been asking around. My immediate plans for fixing it up include:
    •Replacing the throwout bearing.
    •Replacing Suspension bushings and springs.
•Installing an Electric fan (I live in Southern California and summers get hot!).
    •Replacing Alternator (looks worn).
    •Replacing all worn rubber lines.
    •New Water Pump.
(PS I've read the new owner post and plan to do all of the maintenance, these are just the things I know need it the most)
Very excited to join the club, and to have such a wealth of knowledge here to help me along the way.
    Cheers!

looks like a john baker 2" body lift....I see 1 of the 4 square bed spacers welded to the frame above the rear tire.

    Thanks y'all!!
Kxrider, the tires are 31" and the back rims say "American Racing". Don't know too much about these trucks, so I'm very happy that this forum exists! I will make sure to post a build thread of any work I do.
    Cheers!!

Nice truck, almost reminds me of a 4x4 Mitsubishi Truck Ad with the background desert in the picture. I can imagine the one with the door open, your friend probably saying, " What are you doing"? "Get back in the truck"!!!

Nice to see that small chrome fender edging on there. minus one front left fender...Don't see that stuff too often.

    Welcome to the forum.

Hi Micheal! I don't have any of the emissions gear hooked up in mine. It came from Reno and didn't need to pass smog. Here are pics of the stickers. Hope it helps!
