Nearly Finished with Mitsubishi engined Stutz Bearcat With Distrib, carb questions

Nearly everything is done on the car and I will soon be wanting to start it.
    I have the stock 89 Ram50 2.6 engine.
I also have (I think) all of the original electronc boxes and wireing.
I was looking at the Pertronix module, hoping that this would negate those pesky boxes and make the wiring easier. But I still have the stock carburetor.
Here's the thing, the Distributor I have is a T3T65476 and Pertronix only has a listing for a T3T61991.
    Are these distributors interchangeable?
The main idea is to simplify the wiring and make the stock carb work.
There is a similar thread of two years ago where I asked much the same question, but it's down to crunch time now and I don't want to go in the wrong direction at the last minute.
I am attempting to include a few photos.
