It will start up and drive and when you drive it for I say about 5 minutes it starts acting like its losing fuel and jerks and shuts off. I replaced plugs, wires, cap, and rotor but after it sits for about 5 min it will start up and drive for awhile. I replaced the ballast resistor and the coil gets extremely hot so I'm thinking the coil is getting to hot and killing the truck. I just rebuilt the whole carb and made sure it was getting fuel when this is happening and everything is working correctly.

I would look into the coil, it shouldn't be getting extremely hot. We have seen a few people have the same issue with a hot coil and it had failed.
