    I.D.K.?

    Electrical Gremlins

The kid's '85 Ram50 is acting up again. Go figure. He says that he'll be driving and suddenly the stereo will start flickering on and off several times and then it blows the fuse for the blinkers/tach/gas/and temp gauges. And then the stereo goes back to working normally. I'm overseas right now and I'm trying to help him figure this via text. Any ideas from the braintrust on where to start?
    Thanks,
    Brent

pull the radio out of the dash and check for bare wires - something is grounding out in the dash and the radio is involved somehow.

Does this actually have a Tac? If so can you tell me if it is part of the instrument cluster or aftermarket?
