    fuel pump question

just curious. If I upgrade my 88 2.6 to a weber carb with an electric fuel what do I do with the existing mechanicl fuel pump?
Do I remove it and seal the hole or just cap the inlets and outlets.

You can just leave the fuel pump in place (it won't have any adverse effects) but most guys will use a block off plate. Making one isn't difficult.

copy that. I think it would look better to take it off and mount a plate. thanks.

Look better? lol, it is hidden under the manifold and carb, you can't even see it, and it's a pain in the ass to get to.
