    New shocks

I got a set of new front shocks, and they don't have a double nut for the top. Do I need a double nut?

My factory front struts did not have a lock nut on the top. Did however have 3 washers to the 2 bushings.

Not 100% necessary but is good reassurance to keep that one nut from backing off, unless its a pinch/lock nut.

Thanks skull. Finally got the brake parts so if I get clear weather I should be able to put the wheels back on this weekend and give it a test drive. I have a box of locknuts. If one of the sizes fits I might just put them on to feel safe.
