How to test oil pressure
Can someone give me a quick how to on testing oil pressure on a 2.0L 1988 U engine?
I've never done it before.

Get a mechanical gauge. On the side of the engine where the dumb dumb light pressure sensor is. (Near the oil filter) Just remove it and put in the mechanical one. Start and look. If it has pressure it's good. Anything above 15 at idle is fine. 10 or less you don't want.
Why do you think there is a problem. Noisy valves?

you will need an adaptor to convert the NPT threads on a standard oil pressure gauge to the metric threads on the block.

That's pretty easy. Thanks!
