I was considering buying some aftermarket headlights off eBay and was wondering if anybody has had any experience with them. The ones I was looking at were a 7"x6" BLACK HOUSING PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS what you think

I wouldn't get the blacked out housings, I have heard they don't put out any light barely and are dangerous as hell to drive with.

Yeah the black housings aren't that good. Even with HIDs, gonna keep these cuz they match the all black grille. Gonna buy some fogs and put a 5k kit on 'em to compensate at night.

I found them in stock at a big rig accessory shop for $227cdn. Granted their a little more expensive then the Bosch H4 conversion set but they look so much cooler.

There are no "cheep" conversions to HID that are street legal. But this is as good as it gets.
But you could put in the bulb and it's shielded from direct view and glare. There is only one set I know of for the truck that is OK for the street and it's about 800 for the set.

The ones in the link are Halogen. The housing is all glass. It plug right into these trucks. Then you can change the bulb color temperature if you want to. There only like $80 for the set with bulbs.

    Better pictures here.
