    G54B 2.6 Timing chain cover removal?

    Hi guys! Work on my 83 SPX has been going smoothly, until it came to a grinding halt when it came to remove the timing chain cover. It was previously put in with a new gasket and a HEALTHY amount of rtv. This thing is glued in and I am out of ideas. Any help is appreciated.

    make sure the bolt in the water pump galley is removed - it you miss it and try to pry off the cover, you will break the cover - don't ask how I know that...
