I've had my '88 Dodge Ram 50 since October. The A/c doesn't work on it. I'm not sure if the compressor works because it isn't connected - the previous owner had it sitting in a barn and rats have eaten through several wires. I'm not sure how to figure out how to rewire it and I dont want to go splicing wires together and make something worse.

Here's the male end of the a/c compressor wire. No idea where it's supposed to be plugged in.

Here's three wires that have no connection. #1 goes to the ignition box but only a little piece is left. I assume the compressor has to be connected to some relay with the ignition but I cant find any wiring diagrams that confirm this for me. #2 is a pigtail that has both male and female ends but the wire is eaten through immediately after. #3 is just the male end with no female connector.

This is just another view of everything, labeled the same as the picture above. You can make out the compressor and the free wire coming from it.
