I don't have a fsm. Disconnect battery and remove started. Drain the trans, pull the drive shaft. Unbolt the shifter, remove the cross member and support trans with a jack. remove speedo cable, all ground wires. Remove trans to engine bolts. Support front of trans with second floor jack. Use pry bar to separate engine and trans. Lower floor jacks slowly. Clean all trans fluid that spilled on ground.

Automatic trans has extra steps on removing torque converter from flex plate. Should be 4 bolts. Remove before you remove the trans to engine bolts.

This isn't a very active board, and it was a holiday weekend. Have some patience. Or suck it up and buy a service manual off eBay. They're cheap and they'll explain everything you'll ever need for your truck.

Not the best way to get help - criticism is terrible etiquette on any forum. We are here to help, but we expect respect. Do that again and you will be banned.

    Follow this Link http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin...-Manual-inside

Download the Haynes Manual for the Truck. I've used it for 15 years...

Yes it can... it won't tell you how to rebuild one, that's a different manual, give it a look.
