In case anybody is wondering, stock steel 15-inch Raider / Montero wheels with GY Wrangler HT 235/75 is just about the perfect maximum size fit on an 89 Ram 50 2WD. Wheel width and offset is same as stock 14-inch. Tightest clearance is the strut rod in full lock (just over an inch). But there is no rubbing. This combo reduces engine revs about 10%. Obviously reduces acceleration a bit but the slower turning engine at a steady 65mph is nice. I just need to find som center caps now.
