    Energy Leaf spring bushings

    Hello all,

I have a 95 2WD and am trying to install energy bushing all around. My question is on the front of the rear leaf spring do you remove the original metal sleeve from the eyelet or keep it when installing the energy bushing?

I followed the instruction and removed it but the fit of the bushing is very loose. I did try it with the sleeve in and it seemed too tight but I didn't give it much thought because the instructions said to remove it.

Does anyone know where I can the bushing including the sleeve for the front eyelet of the leaf spring? I've called the local parts places and the dealer but they don't have it.

Are the leaf springs from an 88 the same?

I pulled a leaf spring off an 88 MM. Got it home pressure washed it and gave it a coat of black paint. The rear of the truck is back together again. I'll tackle the front on saturday.
