    Back pressure torn flex pipe

So my flex pipe tore and I think it might be causing low back pressure
but I'm not sure some of the things that are happening are sounds like misfires when you press the gas and has trouble getting up to speed but if I unplug the mass airflow sensor it will get up to speed fine just is really tough at idling could the torn flex pipe be the cause of this

No or little back pressure will mess up exhaust gas scavenging + the exhaust pulse will be diffusing through the split in the flex joint. Whether or not it will affect readings from the MAF I can't say for sure.
