    Where are my cam bearings??

Ok i bought a Power Ram 3 months ago and it didnt start. I pulled the head and checked it and it was warped. So i bought a brand new head from Engine Quest and some bearings from my local auto parts place. When trying to install bearings in the new head i found that they didnt fit. And looking at my old head it didnt have any also. The cam fits perfect in the new head without the bearings. so my question is do i need them and if so why didnt my old one have them? I have never seen anything like this.

No these do not need cam bearings. The cam installs straight into the cam bed and the retaining caps. It is weird that they sold you cam bearings in the first place...

those cam bearing are for worn heads and require a oversize line bore of the head to use them. Surprised they even had any to sell you!
