    Need help Identifying Part

I put on my newly rebuilt carburetor the other day and noticed this thing 1460830766149.jpgwas dangling on by almost nothing

and now, after driving my truck around more, it came off completely. I have a service manual and I can't seem to figure out

exactly what it is I think it's the air control valve based on the diagrams in my service manual but I can't find any picutures of it

and all the auto parts stores in my small town can't even get a parts number for it. I was hoping one of you guys could help me

out here. My truck is a 1985 Power Ram 50 2.6L.

Part of the smog device - Air Control Valve Hat. I think I might have a couple laying around here if you can't locate.
I have never seen one rusted out like that before.

Yeah, oddly enough, it rusted from the inside out and then it came apart at the seams. I'll send you a message if I can't find any, thank you.

No problem, those things are easy to find also if you have a wrecking yard close by. Almost any 1st gen mits will have one, car or truck.
