    LSD on a 1988 Ram 50

I was at the scrap yard a few weeks ago and someone had brought in 2 4x4 ram 50's, one was a sport and the other was a base. I noticed that they had the orange LSD sticker on the door, I was just wondering if this is normal on these trucks or if it is pretty rare to find a LSD on a Ram 50, because of all the talk about taking one off of a 1st gen Montero. I am thinking about purchasing a Ram 50 with 4x4 and a flat bed for $700, he says 4th wont work, but I have an extra tranny. Then I noticed it didn't have a LSD sticker.

I was under the impression that it was an option that was only available on the Montero's, I would have bought the rear axle, but they smashed them both a few days later, and I didn't have any money at the time.

No it also was an option on the 4wd truck models, but definitely not as common.

So will these LSD rear ends out of a 4wd fit directly into a 2wd ??

Im not sure, I think they will, but I wouldn't bet on it, I had the idea to put one of these LSD rear ends on my 87 2wd because I am a 4 wheeling kind of guy and a LSD would help in a lot of situations I've gotten myself into.
