    Won't crank or start 85 MM 2.0 manual 2wd

I was spraying starting fluid around to diagnose high pitched noise suspected of being vaccum leak on weber carb, could not pinpoint location, turned off truck came back, no start won't crank no clicking at all. Battery newer and tested, in good shape, good connections. Push start didn't work, Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Sounds like a ground issue somewhere.

I'm trying to remember if these have a ground wire to the manifold. If so, you might have gunked the connection by spraying. This is simply a hunch, and using up time until someone comes along with a decent answer
