I have a/c in my Power Ram 50 and run a Flex-A-Lite Model 30 electric fan which comes with it's own shroud. They utilize a tap into the power wire (hot wire) to the compressor which activatse the fan whenever the a/c is on. This is a universal fit fan. I ordered it by dimensions of the radiator and clearance to the pulleys etc... Fits well, cools the truck very well.

Fan installed. Everything working as intended. I'll take it to a A/C shop sometime this week with an update. IMG_0578.jpgIMG_0579.jpg

The shop calls me today saying the A/C is ready and working excellent. I pick it up tomorrow. I will update.

A/C works. It works great. The pic shows the high-side C/O switch.
Everything is factory, except the high pressure switch. Running 134a. IMG_0624.jpg

Installing another 7 inch fan. Pics to come. I'm not even using the A/C at the moment. I'm also heli-coiling some components.

Also decided to knurl the part that comes into contact with the bracket. With the heli-coil it really holds a torque.
The knurling also improved the grip.

Well, that's it. Everything is working. I have cold A/C. Ready for the summer.

Thank you to everyone for the help and advice.

The thermostat actually works. Wrapped the wire with black tape all the way to almost the tip. Left about 1/4" exposed. The tip was positioned in the middle of the evaporator. Thank you again to a forum member mentioning all this cause I would have never new anything about that.

Blows nice and cold and shuts off when the cab reaches whatever temp. I set the thermostat.

Awesome stuff. Glad everything is rolling along for you. Does the AC rob alot of power from the truck or drop idle down much?
Also, are you installing a radiator shroud? I think it is almost mandatory with an AC unit.

    Thank you.

First for the shroud. Still no luck in finding one.
For the drop in idle. I installed the dashpot on the carb. and the associated harness and switch. You can see it on the 1st. page in this thread. Simple adjustment, so no drop in idle.
Power: I really have not noticed.
Stuck in traffic on 80 degree day the temp gauge is solid. No deviation.
    Let's what happens on a 95 day.

With twin pusher fans you don't need the fan shroud. With the 2.6 you will not notice a drop in power with the A/C - I never did with the same setup on Geronimo.
