    Valve cover issue (urgent)

Basically on my valve cover there is a nipple coming off of the back on the drivers side and i dont know where it goes, i need to do smog this week and want to make sure this isnt something critical...a buddy of mine said to just cap it but if anyone can tell me what it is and where it goes it would be much appreciated. The vehicle is a 91 MM 2.4 2wd

Plug it if your not sure. It should pass if everything else is hooked up.

It should be capped off it's a Vacuum Test Port for Diagnostics, It used to have a Thick, Black, Rubber Plug over it.

My 2.4 is one year older than yours'. That vacuum port is capped off on mine.
