New Mighty Max owner in NC

I just bought a 91 Mighty Max Saturday and drove her up from Georgia. Just over 83,600 miles on her now. She was originally a lowrider style show truck, then she was changed up to a 90's mini build and now I own her. I plan to keep her in the state she is in for the most part and just add a few of my own touches. So far like it much more than the B2000's I've owned. hahaha I have no experience with the 4G64 motor so I'm sure at some point I'll have some questions.

Hi charlesskelter, welcome to mightyram. Your truck is a 90's time machine - and still lookin' cool. So is it all body and suspension mods or are there a few other tricks up its sleeve? Bet the rear canopy hasn't seen a 2" x 4" or a bag of cement ever

I don't think the bed has seen any real use. Haha That will change. She is my daily. Everything in the bed it's removable so that I can haul anything when needed. It does however have a hitch that I was told the original owner installed to tow his motorcycle sometimes, which I will put to use. I'll have to get some more photos and upload a couple of it in it's original state.

I stole it for $3k. It needs some more work here and there but well worth the price in my opinion.

Maybe it has hauled babes around in it? Wouldn't need cement if that was true.

Nah, they'd scratch up the paint on the bed floor with their heels bro There is a substantial investment in this MM - for $3k it's a bargain! Got pics of the interior?

She's not perfect. haha Someone hit the last owner in a parking lot and her insurance wouldn't cover it. Some things I need to do off the top of my head:

find a new passenger tail light.
    Fix dent below tail light
Smooth out tail and bedside body line once dent is fixed
    Spot paint repair
Wet sand and buff entire truck
    Build center console
Track down lots of trim clips and screws
    Replace ill fitting dash pieces
    Timing belt change
Find everything to hook up horn
Find out why the oil light wants to come on at stops

The interior is pretty basic but it's in good shape. That vintage car phone! Is that thing analog???!? And I didn't realise the rear of the cab had been cut out and joined to the rear canopy! Thank whoever it was that stripped the crushed velvet out of the truck - that stuff was outa control

Yup, I like the simple stuff. I've got a few changes planned, but nothing much. Still keeping it simple. I'm not in to the gaudy stuff. The phone is analog. I wish I could actually use it. haha It still powers up, but that's all it's good for these days.

If you don't like crushed velvet you won't like where my B2000 is going to go. haha 90's lowrider. 5 pumps, tilt bed and adjustable suspension. Hard top vert, old Britax sliding rag, body kit, 15" bolt on McLeans, and last and not least...crushed velvet interior. I'd been hunting parts for about 5 years before the motor gave out on me.

Michael did have it posted on the Mighty Max page. :D Is there much of a mini truck crowd here?
