    mirrors & such

    So,
Started up 'whitey' ('93) & while I was cleaning the interior, the interior rear view mirror glass fell out of the holder
& scared the sheit out of Me.!!!!
The plastic holder has turned into powder !!!!
Researching the site for inside rear view mirror replacement options I found...
    Eclipse/Talon
    Laser/Eagle
    Starquest
    & Montero.
Researching Pick&Pull inventory My best bet is Montero (3 units near Me).
?? all 82-06 mirror mounting configs are screw mount ?? or are some 'glued'
Thx for any help Honored Posters !!!

I use one of them Wink mirrors that has 5 mirrors that run the entire distance from driver to passenger side. I never have to rubber neck my old sore neck again to see the next lane.

I think those mirrors Pennyman mentioned are manual changes. You just flip the lever on the bottom of mirror and it tilts to night, If I am not mistaken.

    ^^^ doh !!! My bad,
Forgot the day/night mirror can be automatic or manual
Some reason I thought all the Montero were automatic !!

I also cked into the 'wink' mirror, but My glass mount is so deteriorated
I would not trust it to hold a piece of tin foil !!! gotta replace the unit.
Thx though, appreciate the correction !!!

I was referring to the manual mirrors - the auto mirrors are too new for Geronimo, although I have one I could install if I wanted a glue on the windshield type.
