1986 Dodge Ram 50 Custom from North Carolina

Hello everyone just picked up a 1986 Dodge Ram 50 for $1000 with 84K on it. It has a 2.0 with 5 speed manual transmission. Except for the rusted out passenger fender the truck is clean, I'm the third owner. I've had a 1982 Dodge D50 w/ 2.6 and 5 speed, 1985 D50 w/2.0 and 4 speed manual and 1987 D50 2.0 with automatic transmission. Recently sold my 2007 Mitsubishi Raider 3.7 with 6 speed manual and bought this truck. I was over at hotrodcoffeeshop.com when I was swapping a 4G67 into my 85, got it running but never finish because I was in the Army.

No real plans for it right now other adding a sport steering that I've had for sometime. I got a gauge cluster with tach but could never get it to work, it was from a Canadian truck. My ultimate plan is to swap in my g32bt that I've had for 4 years, still searching for a complete wiring harness.

Hi bwannabeast, welcome to mightyram. You have got some dedication to Mitsubishi and seem to have owned a pretty good line up of them! And where did you find the '32 turbo? Is it running an ECI or MPI? They are not a very common engine. I've seen a G32B with a factory suck through turbo but they were gawdawful (had 6-8 psi boost and no possible adjustment...) When you figure it out, post up some pics of past and present trucks bwanna - we are terrible voyeurs! lol

I got the g32bt from a local scrap yard, it was listed a 1.6 turbo but didn't specify if it was the 4G61T or g32bt. So I get there to look at it and I'm like WTF is this lol I didn't buy it the first time but went home and did some research and bought it the next day. I was only $200 so I was like whats the worst that can happen. It is ECI with complete turbo.

I've had a 1991 Galant VR-4, 1999 Galant, 1993 Mirage and 1994 Eagle Talon TSI. I currently own a 2004 Endeavor, 2007 Galant Ralliart and this truck. The Endeavor was bought to swap the AWD bits onto the Galant Ralliart. Currently still researching for that swap. Ill post pictures tomorrow.

Geez dude, WHAT A LINE-UP! You have plenty of projects on the go! Don't forget there's a page for non truck related cars etc on site so keep it coming.
